Raising The Participation Age

Young people must continue in education or training until the end of the academic year in which they reach their 18th birthday.

For young people who don’t want to continue full time education and would love to work in the hairdressing industry can become an apprentice, as they will be receiving training one day a week from us and learning on the job in their salon.

Apprenticeship Standards

The new qualification for Apprentices will be coming into effect from May 2017. These standards were written by employers and the main difference is the end assessment. We will be holding a meeting in the near future to discuss the future of Apprenticeships.
